Assassins Creed
Assassins Creed
Since the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Assassins Creed is the most resource consuming game to date. The minimum specifications require a DUAL core processor and 2 Gb of RAM before your go anywhere. However it is possible to run it on less-then-minimum specfications. The gameplay under these conditions is not exactly adaquate. The game runs normally (provided a good graphics card is available) however the sound will be slow. By slow I mean that the sound affects will occur a few milliseconds later then they would if a dual core processor was provided. It is not an unplayable situation, it merely takes getting used to. The specifications of the computer that was used to play the game below minimum specifications.
- AMD K8 II 1.8 GHz Processor
-1024 MB RAM
-Nvidia 7800GT VGA Graphics Card
-24x DVD-ROM
Under these conditions the game was playable and enjoyable,and the graphics amazing. However under better specifcations the game ran perfect. The upgraded specifications the game ran under were;
-AMD X2 Black Edition 5000+ Processor
-2048 MB RAM
-Nvidia 9600Gs PCI-E Graphics Card
-24x DVD-ROM.
Using the above specs, the game ran as best that could be expected. AA (Anit-Analysing) was on full and all graphics capablilties were maxed-out. The performance was unbelieveable and the game is recommend to anyone who has the performance capabilities to run it as shown above or similar.
Under Windows Vista upgraded RAM is recommended. By this 4 GB its meant as a minimum and a more powerful processor, or similar but overclocked.
